2019 deductions on schedule y .I just receive a letter saying I put 86,373.00 and that now I owe them 1794.49. How is it possible if I paid turbo tax to file my taxes

Schedule Y? Are you talking about Massachusetts state tax? Is the letter from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue?

TT goes by your data entry and answers to questions. It cannot know if the deductions you entered are valid.  It sounds like the state disallowed some or all of them.
