2016 taxes were prepared by a CPA, how do I enter that return before starting 2017

In order to get accurate numbers I need to enter 2016 return that was prepared by a CPA.  I decided I could most likely do my own return this year 2017 so how do I enter 2016 return?

Unfortunately there is no way to enter prior year tax data into the current version of TurboTax.

Your best option is to purchase & install the 2016 version of TurboTax for Desktop and recreate your 2016 return in that software. Then you can transfer the 2016 return into TurboTax 2017 and all info will carry over.
