1040x won't print (prints blank pages)

I'm amending my 2025 taxes. Turbotax 2025 created a 1040x form with my data. Data is shown on the form but appear as blank pages when printing or creating pdf. I have not submitted it yet since I don't know if e-filing sends blank pages to IRS or actual data. Turbotax finds no errors. I see others have a similar issue. If I print the actual 1040x, it's blank and printing final documents to IRS 1040x is blank.

Are you still having this issue? 

If you are using desktop software you may need to do a manual update. Try clearing your Cache and Cookies and then try this link instructions.

If you are using the online software, Clear Cache and Cookies.

Although I e-filed our initial return, another member suggested manually filing the amendment. I completed the IRS form via IRS.gov.  I went back into turbotax and selected mail in my return.  I figured I would add the IRS.gov 1040x with the other documentation.  The 1040x printed with the other documents directly from Turbotax. Yet when I go into Turbotax and pdf print or print preview, it shows the 1040x with blank pages. 

It may be a preview and print to .pdf printing issue. Sending form directly to the printer, prints it all.

This is an Adobe Acrobat issue. You might need to update that software.

I had the same problem. I opened the pdf in Firefox browser instead of Edge and then it worked fine.

It does appear to be a browser issue but also a Turbotax issue.

When viewing in turbotax the 1040x file, the instruction page can be viewed followed by 2 blank pages. When creating a pdf in turbottax 10 of the 12 pages can be seen in Edge. The 2 missing are the 1040x. When opening the same pdf in chrome or in gmail, it shows all 12 pages.  

I believe if I had efiled the ammendmended 1040x, that the IRS would have received the 12 pages.

I would think it is a difference in the viewing/printing algorithm Turbotax uses to handle the 1040x documents that were released in late February that causes Edge to treat those 2 pages differently. 

We were able to print and mail our ammended taxes.
