Question

Why is my Colorado state refund still pending?? I e-filed, and turbo tax is estimating that I should have received it today.

Please be patient.

 

The Colorado Department of Revenue ‌only started to process tax returns on February 12, 2024, and the state has offered an automatic six-month extension for filing as long as payment obligations are satisfied by April 15.

 

Refund processing times after that are determined by the Colorado Department of Revenue.

    I filed in late January, and it was just accepted by Colorado on Feb 21.  The answer appears to be patient, they are processing the backlog slowly
