Question

Why can't I advance from a page that requires an irrelevant response; e.g., Select the years for which my PPP loans were forgiven but I never received PPP loans

I have never experienced these kinds of unexpected "full stop" instructions in the many years I've used TurboTax. Is it just this year's version?

You can delete the form that is triggering the questions.  Follow these steps:

 

From the left rail menu in TurboTax Online, select Tax Tools (You may have to scroll down on the left rail menu.)

  1. On the drop-down select Tools
  2. On the Pop-Up menu titled “Tools Center,” select Delete a Form 
  3. This will show all of the forms in your return 
  4. Scroll down to the form you want to delete - look for "PPP loan stmt" or "PPP Loan Forgiveness" .
  5. Select the Form 
  6. Click on Delete.
