Where’s my refund? I completed my tax return with turbotax in Feb 2026. Recently I contacted IRS website, they said that they dont have any info on my tax return.

Did you go through Review and File tabs? Though the 3 steps and click on the big Transmit Returns Now button? When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile. Check back though your emails and spam/junk folder.

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. What does it say?

After paying for your product (if a paid edition), did you continue through all the subsequent screens and click on a button "Transmit My Returns Now?" If so, did you get a couple of emails--the first one that the return had been submitted, followed by a second one in 24-48 hours (or sooner) that the efile had been accepted or rejected? Here's how to check:

If you used Online TurboTax, log in and go to the Tax Home. What does it show there for the status? Which of these terms is used: accepted, rejected, printed, started, ready to mail, or something else?
