Where can I find information about a distribution and if it was or wasn't claimed on my 2017 taxes?

Save a PDF of the return ... it has all the forms & worksheets in it.

To access your current or prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

Then what kind of distribution? 401K or IRA? You should have a 1099R for those which goes on 1040 line 15a or 16a and the taxable amount goes on the "b" line. And in 2017 and prior it matters which line 15 or 16. So if it's on the wrong line the IRS might miss it and say you didn't report it.
