I selected the (?) beside that option.

It says

"This person is currently incarcerated"

 

"This box must be selected if this person is currently incarcerated (even if they weren't incarcerated during 2025). The IRS requires their identification number to file the return."

 

Do not check this box if you are not currently incarcerated.
