Turbo Tax 2023 Saved Files

I just loaded Turbo Tax 2023 on to my computer.  I started loading my income into this program.  When I tried to close the program, I received an error message 567812 saying my file is read only unless I use the Save As to rename the file.  I did this, but when I reopened the turbo tax program, my data is missing.  I have to reload the data every time I access this program.

What is wrong?  This program is usless to me if it does not save the data I am typing.  I file long form and it is impossible for me to complete the program at one sitting.  This is my personnal computer and all my other programs work as they should.

I need this issue resolved quickly.  Am I doing something wrong?  Is this a glitch in your software program.  If the issue cannot be resolved, how do I get a refund?

First question:  I'm assuming you're using the TurboTax Desktop program, correct?  Did you use a CD to install the program, or download it from the TurboTax website?

    Other possible complications:

    1)  If you have multiple user logins on your computer  (some families have separate logins for kids or guests)...make sure whatever person you log in as is an administrator.

    2) Try not to save to a cloud drive....or make absolutely sure you are logged in on that cloud drive before you even start TTX.

    3)  Don't save the file to a USB-connected off-computer disk.  Sometimes shutting down your computer and restarting will remap the USB-connected drive.....and the internal map that TTX has to that file is lost.

    4)  Still an issue?  When you start up TTX, (if Windows computer) always rt-click on the icon, and select "Run as Administrator"

    _____

All I can think of for the moment.
