TT says pending, but irs says they received.

Turbo tax says pending for both federal and state for over a week now. I talked with 3 different experts over the phone and each one said that it looks like the federal went through, but the state got rejected. Looks like turbo tax had something wrong with the indiana state which got corrected with an update on tuesday I believe, but i cannot refile the state because it is still in pending. How can the experts see what the federal and state did but my turbotax did not update past pending? The experts say it is not a turbo tax issue but I do not believe that. The only common thing between federal and state is turbo tax and they both say pending. I am beyond frustrated. The only thing they did was send me another indiana state download for free which I appreciate,but i do not want to put all my taxes in again.. Hopefully somebody on turbo taxes end can find out what is going on and correct.

If you filed your federal and state returns at the same time, your state return may not start processing at the same time as your federal.

It's not unusual for state returns to remain in a pending status for several days after a federal return has been accepted. Please see the TurboTax FAQ here.

When you e-file your tax return, you will receive two emails. The first email only confirms the transmission was received. The second email will state if the IRS or your state either accepted or rejected your e-file. Please see the information in this TurboTax FAQ that explains in more detail the pending process here.

I'm having the same issue. Both my Federal and State (Indiana) still show PENDING. I filed both together on January 25th. My federal taxes were accepted and I have already received my refund. I can't refile the Indiana taxes until this PENDING issue is resolved. My federal taxes were accepted almost immediately. This is a real PAIN!

This could mean certain Forms in your Indiana return is not available as yet for efiling.

Use the link below to see if any of the unavailable Forms mentioned applies to you.

Look up Forms

If none of the Forms mentioned as unavailable doesn't apply to you you choose to delete your Indiana return and then add it back. Your Federal information will flow through as it did before. Before you delete try clearing your Cache by following the instructions below.

How to Clear Cache

The steps to add your State is as follows:

TurboTax Online

Sign in to TurboTax.
On Your 2022 federal return was accepted! ...
Now select Add a state (this reopens your return) ...
Select State from the left menu.
On the Let's get your state taxes done right screen, select Continue and follow the instructions.

I removed the state from my taxes but it would not let me reload the state again. It kept the state in there but with no info. Put the info back in and it still will not let me send it because it says i already did. This is getting beyond frustrating. Turbo tax sent me emails stating my federal is accepted and the state said they rejected it because of a form issue on turbo tax side. I cannot understand why turbo tax can send me an email but their program cannot update to reflect that. Both still say pending when i check the status and it will not allow me to send the state again because it said i already did. I deleted all my cache as well and still the same thing. Ugh
