Timing of Submitting My Fed & State Tax Returns

I completed my Fed and State tax returns on Saturday, March 13. I then signed out of TurboTax.

I want TurboTax to submit my completed Fed and State tax returns on April 9th.

How can I make that arrangement with TurboTax? Please give me

an email address to which I can send my specific request to TurboTax.

Please reply by this coming Tuesday March 16.

Sorry only you can file your returns. You would have to log back in and continue through the File tab to submit the efiles. If you can't finish filing yourself on April 9 why can't you file them now?

Thank you for replying to my request for info. I certainly can file my returns myself. In fact, I am

happy to learn that I can do that. I misunderstood Intuit's comments. My preference is to file my returns

near the deadline date. I am very pleased to learn that only I have the ability to specify the date on which my returns are filed.

What TurboTax message didn't you understand? Did you maybe actually file and April 9 is the date you entered to have the tax due deducted from your bank account?
