If I owe taxes for 2017 how will I know will it tell me on Turbo tax I added my expenses and it says I'm due a refund but doesn't say if I owe anything.
Yes, as you proceed through the tax interview you will notice amounts listed in the upper left side of your screen. This is both your Federal refund amount or amount due, then the State refund amount or amount due. Once you have reached the File section at the end of the TurboTax program the final amount due or owed will be displayed. You will see this amount prior to submitting your tax return.
