Should i call the revenue department? I filed my state tax refund on 1/26.. and checking on the progress it said not received or accepted

What is shown at the Tax Home of your Online TurboTax? Does it say accepted, rejected, printed, started, or something else?

Many states (like Michigan, Colorado, and Illinois) have updated their security protocols for 2026. Thus, State Status may show "Not Found" (because the return is sitting in a secure holding queue waiting for identity verification or fraud filters).

The state website usually won't update until they actually begin the manual or automated "check-through" phase, which can take 30+ days during peak volume.

Most states will mail you a physical letter if they need you to verify your identity before they will "receive" the return into their system.
