My refund is stuck in a Turbo Tax account. How do I get my refund without getting an attorney?

You'll need to explain more to make your situation clear. A temporary account at an intermediary bank is only involved if you chose to pay TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund.

However, in your previous question at the link below, you said you elected NOT to use that payment method, so I presume you paid for your product upfront by credit/debit card, unless that was a typo mistake in your other question.

Your tax refund was not sent to TurboTax. TurboTax does not handle your refund at all.

Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC (SBTPG) is the bank that handles the Refund Processing Service when you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. This option also has an additional charge from the bank that processes the transaction.

It's confusing because in user's other thread from a few days ago, they said they elected NOT to pay fees out of the Federal refund. So it's hard to understand user's situation with just 1-2 sentences. I asked above for some explanation and clarification.
