Question

My federal refund no longer has a refund date although it is displayed as accepted, on the Where's my refund IRS page, on turbotax it shows an estimated date. Why?

When I filed my tax return it was accepted on the 28th by the IRS and I was given an estimated refund date at 2/18/19 however I checked the IRS Where's my refund tool and now my refund no longer has a date and it says that its still processing, however I have already received my state refund check, and Turbo Tax still shows my Federal refund estimated on 2/18/2018. What is going on and should I be worried?

Turbo Tax gives an estimated date based off the date you filed, please keep in mind this is only an estimation.

Once the return leaves Turbo Tax, they do not get updates on the return. The best way to get updates is to check the Where's my Refund website. This website only updates once every 24 hours.
