My Arizona return was e-filed Jan 24. Status is still pending after 8 days and my home page now shows the pending date starting Jan 31st when it was e-filed on Jan 24th?

Is it stuck with Turbo Tax or has it veritably been received by Arizona and why did the pending start date change from 24 Jan to 31 Jan?

It depends. Did you receive an e-mail from Arizona or TurboTax about the status of your state return? E-mails are generally sent from TurboTax informing whether your return has been accepted or rejected. Pending usually happens at the government level.

However, most likely, your return is pending acceptance from the state. Once processing has been accomplished they will notify you. In early stages of accepting e-filed returns it is sometimes backlogged.

I have received nothing from Turbo Tax or the State. Still wondering why the pending status date showed 24 Jan when I e-filed both fed and State and then after a week the pending date changed on the State from 24 Jan to 31 Jan.

My return was finally accepted ten days after I e-filed and received a pending date and three days after the original pending date changed. So I can only assume it sat somewhere for a week and then someone re-issued a new pending date and then it flowed into the system.
