Question

Me and my husband filed jointly for our 2018 taxes. We had to file an extension of what we owed. So now I have the money. How do I go about paying it?

You may have filed for extension to file (and had it accepted), but there is no extension for time to pay.  Tax liabilities were due on April 15, 2019.

If your e-filed return has already been accepted, and you haven't made payment yet, please do so as soon as possible.  Your unpaid tax liability will be accruing interest and late-payment penalties.

I'm linking you to the IRS webpage that shows options to pay.  I'd recommend IRS Direct Pay, as there is no delay like there would be if you mailed payment.  You should also know that payments made with credit or debit cards include a "convenience fee".  That fee can be avoided if you choose to use Direct Pay.

If you filed for an extension but did not pay anything, and you have tax due, now you will be subject to penalties and interest.  TurboTax will not calculate that.  The IRS will calculate it and bill you later for it, after they receive your return and the payment you do make.
