Once your Federal Return has been approved by the IRS, you should get an email from Turbo Tax that will go over information concerning your “virtual card” with the refund advance. When the steps in the email have been completed, you should receive your funds in about 48 hours. Please see the below link for additional information:

I received an email with information concerning my virtual card the same day I e filed with TurboTax. My turbo debit card account has been setup since January 25 and my return was accepted on January 27 at 1:40 am. According to the info in this link

9.9people out 10 have their refund advance funds available within an hour after the IRS ACCEPTS YOUR E-FILED TAX RETURN.

I’m just trying to figure out when and if I will get an advance. I’m already disappointed that turbo tax didn’t have some sort of disclaimer or note that the EIC would automatically hold your refund til the end of February beginning of March. TurboTax added the credit to my return and it only got $313, gladly give it back not to wait!!! I paid TurboTax $120 with out tax and fees to efile under the assumption I would be getting an advance and remainder of my refund in a timely manner. I didn’t want my refund on the card but it’s the only way to receive your funds if you chance getting an advance. I have been a customer since 2013 but this might have ruined that.....
