We received IRS letter 6330C to verify it was us and that someone else didn't fraudulently file our 2021 taxes. Our payment cleared, but IRS states we did not file 2021 taxes, yet we filed through TurboTax and have the email verifications. I have tried several times to call IRS, but they are obviously busy, and I can't get through. Why would IRS state we haven't filed our 2021 taxes using TurboTax?

My IRS 2021 tax payment to Treasury cleared, which I expected. However, the letter is about someone else possibly filing a tax return in our name and fraud was committed. Our IRS account shows no 2021 taxes filed yet I have confirmation email from TurboTax it was filed and accepted by the IRS. I'm asking TurboTax since I can't get through to IRS.
