If i moved but still have same bank acct information will it hold up my stimulus?

I moved from when i  have filed taxes. Will it affect my stimulus?

The IRS is going by the information on your 2019 return.  If your bank information is correct on your 2019 return, then the IRS will send your stimulus money to your bank by direct deposit.  Your address would not affect the direct deposit.

 

If your bank information is not correct, the IRS will issue a check to the address on your 2019 return.  You can change your address with the IRS using form 8822.

Also, make sure you put in a change of address with your post office.
