I don't think so, but following because I sure don't want this impossible green dot card.

If you are not approved for the loan and you did not meet the qualification criteria for the Refund Advance, First Century Bank will send you an email explaining why you weren’t eligible. You will still get your refund on a Turbo Card unless you stated otherwise on your tax return. If your tax return is not accepted, you can then change your refund selection at that time.

Please see the TurboTax FAQ below for more information on the Turbo Card.

You can check your refund method selected or change the method selected on your tax return. As long as you haven't filed yet (or you e-filed, but got rejected), you can change your refund method. Please see the FAQ below for more information:

But what Turbo fails to tell people is that green dot receives the instant denial from first century and they send you a really informal and bland email that is more of a follow up to the email you should get from first century. Oh yeah and that won’t come for up to 30 days...I’ve always used turbo tax, and for filing it’s great. First year trying to an advance because I really needed it and their advertisement really needs to be reviewed because it’s full of false information.

The initial approval is just a pre-qualification. If you don't qualify, you'll receive an email confirming you won’t receive a Refund Advance. It will include information about why you were not eligible for a Refund Advance. Your federal refund (minus any other agreed upon fees) will be loaded onto a Turbo Visa Debit Card. For more detailed information, please click here. You can also read the terms and conditions for the refund advance by clicking here, specifically the part that states "You will not receive a final decision of whether you are approved for the Loan until after you file your taxes and the IRS accepts your return." Unfortunately, once your e-filed return has been accepted, it's too late to change your refund method.
