Question

If a resident of indiana used non resident form as suggested but we are a reciprocal state and should not owe ky additional $ need to amend but still have to pay?

If your only income from KY sources is wages then you don't have to file a nonresident KY return unless the KY employer withheld KY taxes instead of IN taxes. In that case you would file a nonresident KY return, claiming 0 income, to get a full refund of the KY taxes erroneously withheld. If you haven't already, file Form 42A809 with your KY employer to stop KY taxes from being withheld. https://revenue.ky.gov/Forms/42A809.pdf
