You can speak to a person, you just have to go through the procedure to do that. You can get TurboTax support contact information, including phone numbers, at this link: https://turbotax.intuit.com/support/contact/index.jsp

Verified your identity with whom?? Are you referring to verifying identity after receiving an IRS Letter 5071C or 6331C? If so, the IRS says it can take up to 9 weeks to get a refund. The IRS website has this FAQ:

"What happens after I successfully verify?

If we successfully verify your identity, we’ll process your tax return. It will take up to 9 weeks to receive your refund or credit any overpayment to your account. However, if we find other problems, we’ll contact you again. This will delay your refund more."

Talk to a person where? TurboTax Support does not get any information from the IRS while the IRS is still processing a return.
