Question

I still have not received my tax returns. I have been to the IRS website and it says they have no record. Mine were complete on 4/3/2025.

I presume you mean you haven't received your tax refunds.

Something is confusing in what you wrote.  What tax year are you referring to???   In your question you said "4/3/2025" which was last year, so that would have been a 2024 return, unless it was a typo.    Or did you mistype the date and meant to say 4/3/2026 for a 2025 return???

So for "whatever" year it was for, when you prepared the return,  and if you efiled, did you go all the way to the final screen and clicked on a button that said "Transmit My Returns Now?"   If so, then you should have gotten 2 emails--the first one saying the Federal return had been transmitted, followed by a later one saying if the Federal return was accepted or rejected.  Likewise for the state return (if applicable.)    Here are some things you should check.

First, make sure the returns were successfully filed.  Here's how:

If you efiled, and if you used Online TurboTax, log in and go to the Tax Home.    At the Tax Home page what term is used for the Federal return status for the tax year in question--accepted, rejected, printed, started, ready to mail, or something else?     And if you have a state return, which of those terms is used for the state return status for the year in question?

NOTE:  If this is for a 2024 return, then at the Tax Home you will need to scroll way down to "Your Tax Returns & Documents" and select tax year 2024 to get the status.

When you report back with that information, we can tell you how to further proceed.  Also, when you report back, please clarify the exact tax year you are referring to--2024 or 2025.
