I received letter from state of kansas saying they need copy if my federal tax return and w-2 did u send that to them please

I need u to send copy of my federal return to my state kansas dept of revenue

TurboTax cannot send copies of tax return or a W-2 to anyone. TurboTax is tax preparation software only. It is not a paid tax professional who would interact with the IRS or your State on your behalf.

You will have to print the tax return and provide the return to the state. TurboTax does not have a copy of your W-2 only the worksheet that has your W-2 tax data. You will have to provide a copy of your W-2 to the state.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and Click on Add a state

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
