Question

I received an irs 310 deposit but my amended return status still shows it is processing. What is the deposit for?

This is a public user forum, so we can't know anything about your specific situation, but we can make some guesses.   So are you seeing that you received a deposit that says "IRS Treas 310?"     Had you already received your original Federal tax refund (if applicable), or was this deposit for your original Federal refund from the original return that you filed before you did the amended return?   

 

How long has it been since you filed the amended return?  It normally takes about 8-12 weeks for the IRS to process an amended return.
