I followed up by calling the number that was on a letter that said my refund has been sent to me. they told me that all they could see was that it was deposited on a particular date. I have bank records to prove that it was never deposited into my account and there’s got to be someway to track the check to see who signed for it. Who should I contact for help with this?

Only the state can help with this.   TurboTax never knows if you received your refund or what happened after you filed.

@Aggiegirl1983

One thing that people can do...check last year's full tax filing..a NEW PDF download of your 2020 tax file contains all the worksheets.

Then down in the Stae section of the PDF , there is a state "Information Worksheet".  ~Part V (it varies some) of that worksheet, it shows who the refund supposedly went to...Name, Account and Routing number.

Sometime people totally miss that it went to their Financial/brokerage account, and not their Bank.
