If you are trying to amend your 2023 tax return, you must wait until it is accepted and processed. Check the status and if it's still pending, do not make any changes.

If your tax return is rejected, you may log in to TurboTax and make changes along with fixing the rejection. If your tax return is accepted, once it’s processed and you receive your refund, you can file an amendment through TurboTax using Form 1040-X.
