Question

I mailed my return in a month ago, but I'm not able to find any information of my return status online, so what do I do now to figure out if it was ever recieved?

Per the IRS you won't be able to right now:

We are not currently able to process individual paper tax returns due to the COVID-19 outbreak: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payments

You can find more information here:

https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-operations-during-covid-19-mission-critical-functions-continue

They ask that you do not mail in another copy.

So then should I get online and put my info in the system so that I get a stimulus check I havnt filed since 2012 and the reason I mail this one is because I was unable to get my tax IPPin I mailed it in literally days before covid-19 came out publicly and now I'm not sure what to do I am unable to make money dew to covid-19 and I have a 1yr old whose dependant on me my bills are getting to be to much I've already gone without a phone for a month and I had to borrow money to pay my internet in order to be informed of the developments of this pandemic. Can u please tell me what I'm expected to do if my taxes dew to being paper will not be handled yet I was relying on that to survive this situation?
