Just wanted to get my tax return done I'm going through a rough time and no job going through treatment

Glad to know you are getting help. Do you have a tax question? If you did not have a job or did not have income in 2023, you do not need to file a tax return. The exception to that would be if you have had health insurance from healthcare.gov ----then you will need to file a tax return and enter a 1095A.

Even if you do need to file a return this year, it is way too early. The IRS won't be open for e-filing until January 24, and most tax forms you will need (like W-2s and 1099s) can be issued as late as January 31.
