Question

I had to delete my 1098-T as I was claimed as a dependant, and now I cannot file because there was an issue with the info entered. But I cannot edit it as i deleted it.

When I go to finish and file, it says that I need to fix something with my federal return, and that issue is the 1098-T that I can no longer access so im stuck. I have already paid to file.

You need to delete the form associated with the 1098-T. That is form 8863.

Here is how to delete a form in TurboTax.

Please be very careful about what you delete while you're doing that. Forms are interlinked and if you delete the wrong one you'll be starting over. So just the 8863.
