I filed my taxes and they have been accepted by federal and state, but I haven't recieved my taxes and the irs said there was an error on my taxes. I'm so confused?

Errors can arise from many things. For example, your employer failed to report your W-2, or reported something different. Could you have made a data entry mistake, or forgotten to claim some income? The IRS is also verifying all Recovery Rebate Credit claims against their records of stimulus payments that have been made.

I definitely know I didn't make a date entry mistake. I followed all the directions on how to upload my W-2 and everything. What do you mean when you say "The IRS is also verifying all Recovery Rebate Credit claims against their records of stimulus payments that have been made."? I only recieved my first stimulus, I had to claim the second one on my taxes, and I still have yet to recieve the third stimulus
