I changed my exemption from 1 to 5 in middle of the year. will it change my tax refund? and how to mention it while filling my tax return?

You don't mention it when preparing your return. By increasing your withholding exemptions, you requested that less money be withheld from your pay. That may very well reduce your refund or you may even owe.
