I amended my turn but the pdf didnt change. I was told I had to file by papper. So was the amended e filed?

Ok but when I download the form it's still showing the original return information

An amended return can not be e-filed. The IRS says so. You have to print, sign and mail the 1040-X to the IRS. Amended returns can take up to 16 weeks to process since they are done by hand.

if the 1040-x is showing the same info in column A and C is there anything in column B

if nothing in B then you didn't properly enter your changes.

if there are amounts in Column B do they appear to be the changes you made. while rare, its possible that some changes will not change your taxes. the only way to be sure is either to upgrade so a pro can review return or take your amended return to a outside pro.
