How do I transfer an "amended" return that I did in Turbotax last year into Turbotax this year?

There are two files (original and amended) and I'm not sure which file to "transfer" to start 2021 tax

You should be able to transfer either one. You will want to ensure the AGI is correct for whichever one you use for the transfer.

How do I find last year's AGI?

Are the files on your computer? Did you use the Desktop program last year? You should transfer from the Amended return. If you used the Online version last year your account should only have the amended returns saved in it. Are you using the Online version or the Desktop program for this year?

If you used the Desktop program last year you need the amended return file ending in .tax2020 to transfer.
