How do I tell TurboTax that my 2023 taxes have been filled with another group, but I am going to use TurboTax for 2024?

No need to "tell" TurboTax what you plan to do for your 2024 return, or to tell TT that you used another software for your 2023 return. If you want to use TT for a 2024 return, you can just do that. Understand that you will start from "scratch" for 2024, since any TurboTax tax file that was prepared earlier than for 2023 cannot be transferred to your 2024 return. You might be able to transfer a pdf of the 2023 return prepared elsewhere, but not much transfers from a pdf beyond some personal information.

Don’t need to tell Turbo Tax. Did you get an email to file? That’s from the Marketing dept. Just ignore it. When you start 2024 you can try to transfer from 2023 other company. When 2024 opens we can tell you how. Are you going to use the Online version or install the Desktop program?
