How do I set up direct deposit without filing?

You cannot set up a direct deposit account when you do not file a return, or if you already filed your return, you cannot change it.
If you are worried about the Stimulus checks, you will receive yours by check unless the IRS has bank information from you for either 2018 or 2019.
