How do I see each spouse's individual wages on a previous year's taxes when we filed jointly?

When I download our tax pdf, it only shows our total earnings. I need the breakdown of what each of us earned separately for FAFSA forms.

You can refer to your W-2s or look for a reproduction of your W-2s in the PDF (which is not an exact copy, but contains all of the information from your W-2s).

Yes----look at your own W-2's or 1099's.   The Form 1040 does not ever break down your income per spouse when you file a joint return.  When you file jointly all of your income is combined on the tax form.  If you are going to be dealing with FAFSA for a few years while someone is in college, you need to always save your own income documents so you can answer their questions.  The worksheets that are part of the pdf of your return will show the income entered for each of you....it will just be more "homework" for you to sort it out and interpret the worksheets.
