How do i know if i reconciled my advanced premium tax credit last year?

Is it not done automatically when doing taxes? Or is it necessary to fill out form 8962 to do so?

There is no payback for 2020 taxes.  TurboTax normally creates the form when you enter your 1095-A.  Because of 2020 law change, 8962 is not needed this year.

The 8962 will be populated when you enter the 1095-A information and it will be included in the return however any repayment will not be applied.
