How do I file a custom (i.e. upload PDF) amended Tax Return through TurboTax? (The TurboTax wizard won't let me amend a Schedule H, for some reason.)
When I originally filed my Tax Return through TurboTax, I filed a Schedule H, which later turned out to have an error. I attempted to use the Amend Tax Return workflow in TurboTax, but the Schedule H was not one of the forms allowed for correction.
I manually filled out Form 1040-X and a corrected Schedule H (i.e. I have PDF copies), but the IRS website says to "Contact your preferred tax software provider" in order to file electronically. (Tax software providers seem to generally require that you used them for the original return, so it seems TurboTax may be my only option.)
