How do I change the amount I paid in school district taxes on my tax form after filing? Amending does not give me the option to add this and tries to amend fed as well.
When filing my taxes, it did not report any of the amount withheld in my school district taxes even though it is listed on the W-2 information included. I followed the instructions found to amend just my state return, but it still tries to make me amend my federal as well and when getting to the SD part of the taxes it does not allow me to add/change the box for amount withheld. How do I need to proceed to correct this error?
