How do I change from filing long form married to short form widowed?

There's not really a short form for filing your federal taxes, anymore.  With the recent changes to the tax law, you can only file Form 1040, U.S. Individual Income Tax Return, or Form 1040-SR, U.S. Tax Return for Seniors, as your federal return.

TurboTax will choose the correct form for you, based on your interview responses.
