How do I file my 2021 taxes on TurboTax?

TurboTax does not support tax year 2021.

You will need to contact a local tax professional for assistance if you need the 2021 tax return filed.

Note that if you have a tax refund on the 2021 tax return, the refund will not paid as it is beyond the 3 year time limit from the due date of the 2021 tax return.

If you have taxes owed on the 2021 return, it needs to paid as soon as possible since late payment fees and interest will continue to accrue until the taxes are paid.

TurboTax no longer supports 2021. They support only the current year and three previous years, which now, in December 2025, means 2022 through 2025.

Some other tax software companies might still have software for 2021 available.
