Has anyone whom filled with TurboTax received their June 2022 stimulus rebates for the state of New Mexico? Thanks!

Tax filers who meet income requirements, are supposed to receive 250-500 in June and August this year in New Mexico to help with inflation costs. Most people l know have received there’s by direct deposit, however I heard that those whom used turbo tax may not have received their rebate yet.

Thank you for your response, I have read over that website a few times this month and called the taxation office, to receive automated messages stating to call back at a date that they kept pushing back when I called. However I found out today after posting this question that 60,000 rebates have yet to be sent in spite of the given june 30th estimated deposit day. Not sure why you think using TurboTax software has anything whatsoever to do with when or if you receive the rebate from New Mexico. Here is a link to the state's information. Click on the frequently asked questions and read what the state itself says about your rebate check.

Thank you for your response. I was curious about a possible delay on turbo tax’s side because of a news article that stated one reason for the delay in receiving the rebate was that tax preparation services forward the deposit. It did not list turbo tax specifically, and I was curious enough to ask.

I filed with turbotax and have the receipt, but now when i check TAP, it shows my 2021 tax was not filed, called New Mexico Tax and they were supossed to call me back, what it all means? turbotax never submited my state tax? please help.

Paying the TurboTax account fees does not file your tax return.

Did you e-file your state tax return and was it accepted?

You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.

Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund

To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
