Full Refund Amount was NOT Refunded back to me!?

Can someone please explain to me why my Federal Tax Return was almost 4 thousand dollars short of what it was supposed to be and why it's saying I owe the state of ILLINOIS ??? I have never in my entire 18years of filing a return have I owed anything nor has my federal been cut this short!! I've waited and waited for a letter of explanation but yet nothing has been received! This third party service provider is a crock, why wasn't I informed of additional fees before filing? Their technically stealing people's money like it theirs and their owed something.

If you have an IRS account, look at your IRS account on the internet to see what the IRS sent to you.

If you don't have an account you have to go through the new process with ID.me to get one.
