Form 14039 online Turbo Tax error

I was a dependent on my parents' return last year but my SSN was apparently used to file a federal refund. I received notification the IRS put an identity theft indicator on my SSN so now I need to use an IP PIN to file, which I obtained online. When completing my 2025 form 1040, the online site also filled out form 14039 and it asks for the last tax return year filed. Since 2025 is my first year for my own return, I left it blank. But the online site would not let my return pass review saying the year needs to be filled out. So I put in 2025 but then in review it said it needs to be left blank. I've tried this multiple times, it goes back and forth and can't get past this to e-file. Is this a bug with the online version?

Follow these steps:

  1. The 14039 is not necessary on your return since you have an identity protection pin. You can delete the form. How do I view and delete forms in TTO?
  2. You need to enter your IP PIN.
    1. Go to  federal section, Other Tax Situations
    2. Locate Other Return Info
    3. Enter your IP PIN issued this year. You get a new one each year.
    4. You can check your online account with the IRS.
