Question

Filled Ks State & Fed Taxes 2/16. Rec Ks State refund 2/22. Never got a notification from TurboTax. Have not seen anything of Fed. Can you explain why?

I received my Federal 2015 refund in 14 days. Didn't know if this year 2016 Fed refunds are running slow. Didn't want my taxes stolen.

If you e-filed, start by checking your e-file status.

Once you've received confirmation your federal return has been accepted, you'll be able to start tracking your refund at the IRS Where's My Refund? site.

Where's My Refund? tool includes a tracker that displays progress through 3 stages: (1) Return Received, (2) Refund Approved, and (3) Refund Sent. It also provides an actual personalized refund date as soon as the IRS processes your tax return and approves your refund.
