After TurboTax prepares your federal tax return and you chose to e-file it, the tax return is submitted electronically to the federal government. When the tax return is acccepted by the IRS, then at this point, the government has all control over the tax return. There is no way of knowing exactly when IRS will finish processing your return, but you can track your refund on the IRS website. You will not see your refund expected deposit date on the IRS website after IRS approves the refund. For most taxpayers,(9 out of 10), the refund process takes approximately 21 days. If your wait time has been more than 21 days since your tax return was accepted, then the IRS ask that you give them a call at 1-800-829-1040, please see this TurboTax FAQ, What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days? https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3302084
