Email about filing my 2023 taxes

Hi I received an email to finish my 2023 taxes which I know I filed in 2023. And what's more confusing is this isn't about my 2024 taxes but the previous year instead. Why am I receiving this email?

AND...it IS about 2023 taxes.

This year...during 2024, is when your 2023 taxes were supposed to prepared and filed back in April (or 15 October if extended)....BUT

No one can file 2024 taxes until well into 2025.

Yep...if you have more than one TTX account, the email might be due to the computers noticing the abandoned account not being used for this year's (2023) taxes.

Some 2024 software & forms "might" become available in late Nov -to-Dec pf 2024....but will be mostly useless until well into Jan or Feb of 2025.
