E-filed 2017 tax returns forgot to sign. IRS sent it back to sign. Still have not signed and it has been a year. Refund expected. What do I do? Refile? Sign and return?

I just want what is owed. But after IRS sent back papers to be signed I forgot about it until I fled again this year.

If you are owed a refund for 2017, then mail in the signed tax return.  You have three years to file it and still receive your refund. After three years you forfeit the refund if you do not file it.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return
